Summary
A yew, elm and ash Windsor armchairs, Thames Valley, circa 1825, in the manner of the Prior family workshop, Uxbridge, Middlesex. Having a hooped back above three fretted splats with central 'draught' spaced by two spindles, the arms on incurved supports mortised into the elm saddle seat. The single-ring and baluster-turned legs joined by a crinoline stretcher.
