Summary
A mahogany and rush-seated 'Barnsley'-type coronation chair, English, circa 1902, made by The Thomas Glenister Co., of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The rectangular back with three vertical splats. The seat of rush with exposed mahogany corner blocks. On tapering rectangular-setion legs joined by a double 'H' stretcher and a rear stretcher. With a green-velvet covered seat cushion.

Attingham collection, presumably acquired in 1902; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
