Summary

Print, mezzotint, by Percy Henry Martindale (1869-1943). 1912, Head and shoulder portrait of Mrs Exeter Cross by George Romney. Turned to the left, head facing, wearing turban (tied under chin) and gown with gathered white muslin bodice. Plain dark blue/black background. Pasted to rectangular card backing, card mount.

Provenance

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
