Summary
Print, aquatint, Snowdon (after Philip James de Loutherbourg) by William Pickett (1792-1820). Snowdon. A stormy mountainous landscape, a family group to the right with a dog, walking towards a herd of goats. A lake in the middle distance and Snowdon in the background. Published by Robert Bowyer, Historic Gallery, Pall Mall, London, January 1805 from the original drawing for The Romantic and Picturesque Scenery of England and Wales, from Drawings made expressly for this undertaking by P.J. de Loutherbourg Esq., RA. Engraved by William Pickett and coloured by John Clark. Glazed, cream card mount and narrow moulded pine frame.
