Summary
Coloured chalks on paper, Hon. Louisa Elizabeth Horsley-Beresford, Marchioness of Ailesbury and Countess of Cardigan (d.1891) by John Hayter (London 1800 – 1891). Head and shoulder portrait of Louisa Beresford, head turned to the right, with dark hair, a silk veil over her head. Glazed in varnished wood frame, two ebony line borders. Formerly ATT/P/035. Number '35' on frame.
