Summary
One of ten wine glasses with a ribbed bowl on a hexagonal stem and circular foot. Decorated with engraved floral swags tied with ribbons, E of T monogram and coronet, highlighted in gilt. Gilt line borders to rim and base. Part of a much larger set made by Baccarat of Paris, commissioned for Tatton Park in 1911 by Alan de Tatton Egerton, 3rd Baron Egerton of Tatton.

Egerton Collection: commissioned by Alan de Tatton Egerton, 3rd Baron Egerton (1845-1920). By descent to the National Trust by bequest from Maurice, 4th Baron Egerton of Tatton (1874-1958) with the house, gardens and contents of Tatton Park.
