Summary
A woman's shoe from a pair of shoes, made from brown glace kid leather. The front-lacing shoe is trimmed around the upper edge and lace holes with mock lizard in brown edged with gold, with a keyhole cut-out on the vamp. The original laces are intact and have a small wooden acorn on each end. The shoe has a Louis-style heel, covered in brown glace kid, with a leather sole and lined in a combination of tan glace kid and cream canvas. A maker's stamp on the insole of the shoe reads, "Made by Church & Co Ltd, Northampton, England, expressly for "Babers Ltd". 308 Oxford Street, London. New York, Madison & 49th".
