Summary
A woman's spencer (or bodice), made from cream silk satin. The spencer is decorated across the main ground and on the integral capped sleeves with multi-coloured silk thread embroidery in a floral pattern. The lower hem has blue silk twill binding and this is matched with decorative lacing on the spencer back with blue silk cord. It is unlined and has no surviving fastenings.
