Summary
A woman's bodice, originally part of a dress, made from cream silk and cream silk satin. The bodice front is made from silk woven with a diagonal stripe, with the puffed sleeves made from cream silk satin (Soie de Londres). The sleeves are decorated with two bands of cream silk fly braid and are otherwise plain, fully lined in calico. The bodice is fully lined in linen, with the linen extending around the back to create pinning straps.
