Summary
A woman's bodice, part of an ensemble, made from blue and orange shot figured silk. The long-sleeved bodice is decorated with an overall pattern of stylised flowers and is otherwise undecorated. It has a high, pleated collar, leg-of-mutton style sleeves and is shaped with further pleating at the waist centre back. The bodice is fully lined in striped cotton twill, with an integral waist tie made from wool/cotton tape which fastens with a single hook & eye and a further twelve hooks & eyes centre front for fastening, one missing.
