Summary

A woman's handbag, Dorothy style, made from gold coloured silk brocade. The bag is brocaded with a flower and swag motif in green, pink, red and green, with a matching silk thread fringe on the front face top and bottom. It has an elaborate drawstring made from matching silk cord, which is attached to the bag threaded through small silk covered circles and with two matching silk tassels on each end. The top of the bag is trimmed with pleated gold silk satin, which also forms the inner lining.
