Summary

A woman's handbag made from cream moire silk repp. It is decorated centre front with an embroidered frame of gilt thread, diaper ground in grey chenille with gilt bugles, central medallion of a small woven portrait of an 18th century lady with ribbon work flowers around. Looped gold fringe. It is fully lined in pale blue moire silk repp, with a multicoloured twisted cord strap.
