Summary
A woman's corselet made from white nylon. The corselet is decorated with floral embroidery worked in white nylon thread on the bust cup and has decorative elasticated white satin side panels. Internally, the corselet is unlined and has 8 metal boning strips for support, six across the centre front and two centre back. There are eight hook and eye fastenings, centre back, which are intact. A manufacturing label on an inner seam reads, " 'English Rose Basque. Size 34. Nylon. No. 0505".
