Summary
A man’s tunic for the Royal Worcestershire Regiment in scarlet wool facecloth with contrasting cream wool front facings, cuffs and stand-up collar, variously lined with beige silk twill, cream wool and red leather. The collar and cuffs are decorated with bands of gold coloured braid and frogging detail and there are eight gold coloured fastening buttons bearing the insignia of the Royal Worcestershire Reg. The original epaulettes have been removed historically, but the crested fastening buttons remain intact. There are two concealed pockets in the tails of the jacket along with two further crested buttons.
