Summary
A man's Royal Navy boat cloak made from navy wool facecloth and lined in heavy gauge white cotton sateen, incorporating an integral pocket with button. The cloak has four gold coloured buttons centre front for fastening, bearing the crest of the Royal Navy and two cast gold coloured lion head clasps for a fastening chain. Worn by Commander/Rev. James Hamilton Swain, DSO, DSC, MA (1905-1970). Rector of Maghera 1953-1970.
