Summary
Woman’s dress. Cream Astoria silk satin short-sleeve dress with over-bodice and skirt. Bodice and back of skirt are embroidered with silvered glass bugle beads. Bodice shaped with shirring below waist as is the skirt at proper left back. Under-dress of cream silk Habutai with hem edge bound in cream Astoria silk. Outer bodice fastens with two metal hooks and stitched eyes at the proper left side but has been stitched together at this point. Under-dress fastens with metal hooks and stitched eyes down the proper left side seam. Possibly home-made.
