Summary
A woman's kimono made from navy blue and cream silk satin. The long-sleeved kimono has a cream yoke, front facings, hem, side splits and cuffs, decorated with multi-coloured silk thread and gilt thread embroidery in flowers, leaves, branches and male and female figures in traditional Chinese dress, edged with navy blue silk satin. The remainder of the robe is navy blue silk satin, embroidered with multi-coloured silk thread in a mixed motif of flowers, trees, water and cranes, the symbol for longevity and love. It is fully lined in royal blue silk, with four frogged fastenings centre front, intact.
