Summary
A child's bodice, part of a folk costume from Austria, made from dark blue and peach silk velvet. The sleeveless bodice is trimmed around the armholes and neckline with gold-coloured metal thread embroidery in a pattern of spirals and is otherwise undecorated. Internally, the bodice is fully lined in cream glazed cotton, with three boning strips and a further ten eyelets for lacing centre front, intact (lace missing).
