Summary
A State Trumpeter's coat for the Royal Horse Guards. The coat is made from maroon silk velvet with extensive laid gold thread embroidery, with an applique crown and insignia for King George V on the bib centre front. It has three self-covered buttons centre front for fastening, intact, and is fully lined in dark blue wool.
