Summary
A baby's christening cape made from taupe cashmere. The cape is constructed with a collar, a short over-cape and a long under-cape, all decorated with silver chain stitch embroidery worked in silk thread in a stylised floral motif with applique beige silk satin. The upper cape is trimmed with two beige silk tassels centre front. The cape is fully lined in white cotton twill and fastens centre front with two white ribbon ties (not original).
