Summary
A woman's evening bodice, part of an evening dress made from cream striped moire silk and silk brocade with a floral motif. The capped-sleeve bodice is overlaid with cream silk tulle which is decorated with silver foil sequins and glass beads in a stylised floral pattern. The neckline is further trimmed with cream silk satin ribbon with a matching large bow on the right hand shoulder. The bodice is fully lined in cream silk and the sleeves are lined with cream cotton twill. There are eleven boning strips and the bodice fastens centre back with a combination of two hooks & eyes and a silk lace, intact. A maker's label attached to the inner neckline of the bodice reads, "Crozier & Co. Belfast".
