Summary
A woman's petticoat made from cream wool flannel. The mid-length petticoat has a 170mm deep flounce around the scalloped hem, which is decorated with silk thread embroidery in a floral pattern and is otherwise undecorated. Internally, the petticoat is unlined and fastens with two buttons centre back, missing. The 90mm yoke has been created in heavy gauge cotton twill, and stamped on the inner surface, centre back, are the makers details, "Tip Top. British Manufacturers".
