Summary
A woman's umbrella made from navy blue silk, wood and bone. The navy silk canopy is undecorated, with metal ribs and white Bakelite spoke covers, a wooden shaft and a carved bone handle depicting two Chinese figures in traditional dress, one female and one male. It also has a brown leather plaited carrying strap. A maker's mark stamped to an inner rib of the umbrella reads, "British Made".
