Summary
A baby's christening cape made from cream cashmere. The cape is constructed with a collar, a short over-cape and a long under-cape, all decorated with cream chain stitch embroidery worked in silk thread in a stylised floral motif with applique cream silk satin. The cape is fully lined in cream cotton twill and fastens centre front with two cream silk ribbon ties, intact but fragile.
