Summary
A woman's parasol made from linen, vine stem and brass. The linen canopy is embroidered with satin stitch whitework embroidery and drawn thread work in a floral pattern. It has brass ribs and fittings and a handle and shaft made from vine stem, which is decorated with a beige silk tassel. A maker's stamp on the inner ribs of the parasol reads, "Paragon. S Fox & Co Limited".
