Summary
A woman's wedding skirt, part of an wedding ensemble, made from bronze cotton sateen. The skirt is box pleated both front and back, with a panel of ruching to match the bodice on the skirt front, right hand side and with a double-layer hem which is also box pleated. The upper part of the skirt is designed to accommodate a bustle and is draped and swagged with pleated cotton sateen both front and back. It is fully lined in a combination of a cotton blend fabric in mid-brown and white scrim fabric, with a brown wool braid brush tape on the lower hem. It fastens centre back with three hooks & eyes, intact.
