Summary

A woman's dolman, made from silk velvet and silk chenille. The dolman (or cape) is made from figured cut and uncut silk velvet in black and white vertical stripes, with a small pink flower detail. The collar, front facings and hem are decorated with a deep multi-coloured silk chenille fringe and the cape is otherwise undecorated. It is fully lined in yellow silk twill, with two matching waist ties and three hooks and eyes from the neckline to the waist for fastening, all intact.
