Summary
A girl's chemise made from fine white cotton lawn. The sleeveless chemise is decorated on the armholes, neckline, front facings and lower hem with French knot embroidery in pale blue, with a drawstring waist tie made from twisted pale blue and white cotton cord. It is unlined and fastens centre front with three self-covered buttons with a pale blue embroidered edge and pale blue cotton cord eyelets, intact.
