Summary
A woman's wedding gown skirt, part of an ensemble, made from cream silk satin. The seven panel skirt is decorated on the lower third with lines of pintucking and a trim of machine-embroidered silk lace around the hem, matching the bodice. It has an integral train also made from cream silk satin, approximately one yard long and edged with ruched cream silk taffeta. The skirt has a petticoat made from white cotton, with a hem frill made from cream silk taffeta and the train is fully lined in cream moiré silk taffeta. It fastens centre back with three hooks and eyes, intact.
