Summary
A woman's belt, made from black silk taffeta. The corselet-style shaped belt is decorated both centre front on four horizontal bands and around the belt edging with a combination of black rocaille and bugle beads in a floral motif and is otherwise undecorated. Internally, the belt is fully lined in glazed brown cotton, with nine boning strips and three brass hooks and eyes for fastening, intact.
