Summary
A woman's blouse made from white silk. The long-sleeved, high-necked blouse is extensively decorated, with silk lace and crochet lace on the collar and flounced cuffs and additional silk lace and Richelieu lace on the bib. The yoke, upper bodice, upper sleeve and back of the blouse are decorated with shirring and pintucking. Internally, the blouse in unlined and fastens with three mother-of-pearl buttons centre back, one missing and a further two hooks on the collar, also missing. There is an integral slot for a drawstring on the hem of the blouse, string missing.
