Summary
A woman's pair of bifurcated drawers in pink flannelette. The drawers have two entirely separate legs which are joined at the waist (bifurcated). Each leg has a knee cuff which is decorated with a scalloped border of broderie anglaise in pale pink cotton thread and is otherwise undecorated. Internally, the drawers are unlined and fasten with a cotton gathering string around the waist, partially damaged. Hand-embroidered in red wool on the inner waistband, the rather indistinct lettering, 'M or K and JD'. There is also a manufacturers stamp, in faded black ink on the inner waistband, "N220. T. 3".
