Summary
A baby's dress made from white cotton pique. The dress is decorated on the neckline, shoulders and cuffs with a combination of bands of broderie anglaise and feather stitch embroidery, with a pleated bodice and a matching broderie anglaise and feather stitch band on the waist, to which are attached two integral waist ties similarly trimmed on the ends. The hem has a single line of feather stitch embroidery and the unlined dress fastens centre back with two small mother-of-pearl buttons and two cotton ties, intact.
