Summary
A child's jacket for a girl or boy made from white cotton pique. The long-sleeved jacket has a turned cuff with broderie anglaise edging, with matching trim on the wide shawl collar, front opening and lower hem. The jacket is unlined and fastens centre front with four mother-of-pearl buttons, intact. A maker's label attached to an inner seam reads, "Swears & Wells Ltd".
