Summary
A woman's crinolette made from purple and white striped cotton calico. Designed to be worn with or without a bustle, the crinolette is constructed with five half-length metal boning strips projecting from the back to the hip, with the front unboned and flat, in keeping with the skirt styles of the period. Internally, the crinolette is unlined and fastens with three bone buttons centre front and a cotton drawstring, intact.
