Summary
A woman's overskirt, made from cream cotton gauze. The overskirt is decorated with tambour embroidery in white across the main ground in a pattern of snowflakes and spots, with dagged edging. It is gathered onto a cotton tape waistband, with additional gathering across the skirt back to allow for a bustle. The skirt is unlined and fastens with two hooks and eyes on the waistband centre back, intact.
