Summary
A woman's bodice, part of a dress, made from white cotton pique. The stand collar bodice is extensively decorated with black cotton braid (Russian) on the collar, front facings, yoke, wide cuffs and peplum in a stylised pattern of flowers and leaves and is otherwise undecorated. The cuffs and the peplum are also trimmed with white cotton fringing. The bodice is unlined and fastens with five buttons (all missing) and two hooks and eyes centre front, intact.
