Summary
A woman's long-sleeved underbodice made from white cotton calico. The underbodice is decorated with white cotton crochet lace around the neckline and bib and pintucking and lines of faggotting stitch from bib to hem both front and back. Internally, the underbodice is unlined, has cotton tape drawstrings around both the neckline and hem for fastening and has five fabric-covered metal buttons centre front, intact. There is a small 100mm x 100mm hand-stitched historic patch on the bodice, right hand -side, which has been executed with great care.
