Summary
A woman's fan, made from white silk gauze. The silk gauze leaf is decorated with an edging of black silk lace, with appliqued black silk braid and black sequins in a pattern of scrolls and branches across the main ground. The fan has black japanned wood sticks and ribs, which are decorated with a printed pattern of scrolls and flowers in silver and secured at the base with a brass pivot.
