Summary
A woman's evening purse made from sterling silver, with two separate compartments. The purse is engraved on the outer casing in a small honeycomb-shaped design, with a central cartouche on the reverse which is monogrammed with a "B" and "M". The smaller front compartment is fully lined in brown leather and used for coins, the larger compartment is also fully lined in brown leather, with a slot for calling cards along with a small silver pencil and an ivory sheet for notes, intact. It has a chain handle and ring for attachment to a belt and is hallmarked on the outer casing for sterling silver.
