Summary
A woman's parasol made from black silk satin. The silk satin canopy is woven with a design of black bands of flowers, with an open weave border also decorated with a floral motif. It has a black ebonised wooden shaft and carved handle, with metal ribs and brass fittings. A maker's stamp on the inner ribs of the parasol reads, "Paragon. S Fox & Co Limited".
