Summary
A woman's parasol made from silk, wood and ivory. The parasol has a brown moiré silk canopy which is decorated with a black silk fringe around the ferrule and border. It has a wooden shaft and an articulated carved wooden handle, with metal ribs and brass fittings.The ferrule is made from ivory with an attached carrying ring, and there is a brown cotton cord strap sewn to the canopy for closure, with a small ivory pip.
