Summary
A woman's parasol made from machine lace, silk and ivory. The canopy is made from cream silk taffeta, edged with pinking, with an overlay of machine made black lace in a floral pattern and fully lined in cream silk, also pinked. The ferrule and shaft are made from brass, with an ivory handle carved with a rope motif and metal ribs.
