Summary
A woman's shoe from a pair of shoes, made from silver coloured kid leather. The shoe has a low wooden heel covered in silver kid, with two decorative cross-straps centre front, each made from four separate strands of leather which fasten on the shoe sides with a small loop of elastic cord and a small metal button. It is fully lined in leather and has a leather sole. A maker's stamp on the insole of the shoe reads, "Taylor and Sons, Makers. 82 Gt. Portland Street, London".
