Summary
A woman's boudoir cap made from fine white cotton lawn. The cap has whitework embroidery in a pattern of spots, with a four layer frill around the face made from embroidered cotton net and stiffened muslin, with a silk gauze and satin stripe twisted ribbon trim in white and dark pink. The crown is decorated with an embroidered cotton net frill and a series of small bows made from stiffened muslin and white/dark pink silk ribbon. The neck frill is made from matching embroidered cotton net and the two ties are made from white/dark pink silk ribbon to match the cap trim.
