Summary
A woman's chemisette made from white cotton lawn. The chemisette is decorated on the neckline and bib with floral style whitework embroidery and is otherwise undecorated. Internally, the chemisette is unlined, with no fastenings which have survived. Handwritten on the inner facing seam, centre back, "Parkinson-Cumine".
