Summary
A woman's hat made from cream silk satin and white feather stitched to a stiffened buckram core and shaped wire frame. The crown is made from cream silk satin with pleating around the base and decoration of a single ostrich feather plume and a small bow. The wide, upturned brim has been strengthened with wire on the outer edges and has been decorated with white osprey feathers. The inside of the hat and the underside of the brim are fully lined in cream silk satin. A label inside the crown reads "'Andre, 263 Regent Street, Oxford Circus, London W".
