Summary
Woman’s dress. Evening dress by Pacquin of dark cream silk satin with train and full, puffed, elbow length chiffon sleeves with double embroidered net cuffs. Opens at front on proper left side, fastening with metal hooks and stitched eyes. There is a chiffon panel attached to the CF, gathered in two rows at the waist. The neckline is trimmed with embroidered net and there is a silk drawstring at the front of neckline. The bodice is lined with a plain weave silk at the back and sides and is lined with the silk satin at the front. Two cotton sleeve protectors with silk satin layers and a silk and cotton tape internal waistband fastening with two metal hooks and eyes, embroidered with the maker’s name. The skirt is unlined.
