Summary
A woman's corset cover made from white cotton lawn. The corset cover is simply decorated with a single line of faggotting stitch and scalloping around the short sleeves and around the v-shaped neckline and whitework floral embroidery on the bib, centre front. Internally, the cover is unlined, has a short frill around the hem and fastens with five fabric covered metal buttons, centre front, intact. Inside the lining is written "Brett Collection" in black ink and there is also a manufacturers label inside the front seam which reads "Robinson & Cleaver Ltd. Belfast and London".
