Summary
A woman's shoulder cape, part of an ensemble, made from royal blue silk satin. The elbow-length cape is decorated with a matching royal blue silk fringe on the front facings and around the lower hem, along with two self-coloured applique bands just above the hem and a matching silk satin rosette on the neckline. The cape is fully lined in cotton and a layer of very fine silk, dyed the same colour as the cape. There are no surviving fastenings. To go with 602940.1 (dress) and 602940.3 (shawl collar).
